About me!
I'm a professional photographer based in San Diego, California who specializes in wedding and lifestyle photography. I received my Bachelor's of Arts & Sciences with an emphasis in Multimedia from San Diego State University in 2023 to expand my knowledge and support my passion for photography. I'm all about creating those fun and natural photographs that tell a story.
You might be wondering how I happened into this awesome job of mine. Let me tell you a little bit about my start... I fell in love with photography when I was first introduced to it in the sixth grade. My school brought in an outside photography company to come teach us youngsters the basics of photography. I WAS HOOKED! I have always enjoyed creating (especially if it involved a hot glue gun and some popsicle sticks), but photography opened a door I never even knew existed! From the moment I first picked up a camera, I knew I wanted to continue creating images. I had what they call "the shutter bug," and I had it bad. So, for my twelfth birthday I saved all my pennies and bought myself my very first DSLR camera. It wasn't the best, but it got the job done. With this as my side-kick, I further explored my new founded passion by capturing images of the world around me. I am also currently attending a local State University studying Multimedia & Photography to further my knowledge and passion for the art of photography.
Through years of practice and studying my craft, I decided it was time to use my talents to provide unforgettable memories for people like you!
My Approach
Getting your photo taken is awkward, I know! I still get nervous in front of a camera, so don't worry, you're not alone in your awkwardness.
In all seriousness, I do my absolute best to create a welcoming environment for anyone who happens to be in front of my lens. For me, it's all about having fun while creating images. No forced smiles or awkward poses on my watch! I'm here to capture the real you in a beautiful and natural setting. I am completely devoted to providing images that document the raw, candid, and beautiful moments that life gives us. My heart is all about serving you! I am more than confident that I will be able to capture the important moments of your special event, and also all of the small moments in between. At the end of the day, my main goal is to deliver images that matter to YOU.
Here's a little more about me...
I absolutely love to read. You can usually find me with my nose in a Stephen King or Dean Koontz novel. Along with horror novels, I also enjoy scary movies and TV shows. All that creepy junk! I'm also a miniaturist and an avid beach goer and surfer. My go-to board is my brand new 9'4" and she rides like a dream! I'm also a self-taught pianist. I fell in love with piano and started teaching myself at a young age. I dream of owning my own baby grand piano one day... My family and I are also frequent campers and travelers. I've been fortunate enough to travel to the Yucatan, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, and Greece. I'm hoping to lengthen that list quite a bit! My favorite places to camp are San Elijo State beach and Yosemite. We're always thinking about our next adventure and where it will take us.
